Select Status Can Lower Your Insurance Costs
Select Status is available to Plan participants ages 45-79 and is obtained by submitting medical evidence of good health. If approved, Select Status rates, which range from 25% to 50% lower than standard rates, will apply.
You may continue your Select Status participation at the end of each ten-year period with submission and approval of updated medical evidence satisfactory to Prudential. Once insured, your coverage will not be decreased or terminated because you do not provide continued evidence of good health, or because your request to continue Select Status is not approved. You will simply be billed for coverage at standard Plan rates.
Select Status Online Applications for Existing Participants
We are pleased to provide you with the ability to apply for Select Status online. This option is available for existing Group Variable Universal Life Plan participants age 45-79 who wish to apply for lower Select Status rates.
By requesting Select Status now, you can save from 25% to 50% on the cost of your life insurance coverage, as shown below:

** AD&D terminates at age 75.
Your rate will change as you enter a higher age category or because the rate was changed for your class.
