What's Not Changing for AICPA Members |
|
AICPA Medicare Supplement Program coverage is not changing, only the prescription drug portion is. AICPA Members currently insured in the AICPA Medicare Supplement Insurance Program can keep their current coverage without interruption regardless of whether or not they enroll in Part D. With AICPA Medicare Supplement coverage, members will still have the freedom to choose their own doctors and hospitals and to receive the same coverage and protection from the gaps in Medicare. Transamerica Affinity Services, Inc., the AICPA Medicare Supplement Insurance Program provider, has surveyed current Medicare Supplement customers. Their survey shows that customers have a high satisfaction with their coverage. Prescription drug coverage was one area where customers were not satisfied due to increasing premiums over the past several years on plans that covered prescription drugs. Transamerica anticipates the change to a Part D coverage that is separate from customer's Medicare supplement coverage will be a benefit to many. Some things to remember about AICPA Medicare Supplement coverage:
