We are pleased to offer a Long Term Care Insurance Plan, with coverage issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential), which has been developed under the close supervision of the AICPA Insurance Trust. The Long Term Care Insurance Plan offers expanded eligibility, additional features and, best of all it continues the long-standing tradition of providing a quality product for AICPA members and their families (spouse, adult children and their spouses, partners, parent, parent-in-law, grandparent, or grandparent-in-law).

Expanded Eligibility - With Long Term Care, grandparents, grandparents-in law and partners can enjoy the same affordable protection to help offset the high cost of long term care in the event of a chronic illness or disability.
Choice of Coverage Amounts and Benefit that are right for you - Choose from a selection of Facility Daily Benefits (up to $350), Home Care options (60% or 100% of the Facility Daily Benefit)** and Benefit Payment Periods (3, 5 or 10 years) that are most appropriate to your needs. Premiums vary depending on benefit plan selected.

**For participants who reside in Vermont only 100% Home Care Benefit is available.
Premium Contributions - Are determined by your age at enrollment and will not increase due to an increase in your age*. By enrolling at an earlier age your premiums will generally be significantly lower than if you enroll at later ages. More importantly you will receive help in safeguarding your financial assets.
* Prudential has the right to increase premium contributions in the future, but only on a class basis. Your premium contributions will only increase if you increase your coverage.
New Program Features*
Cash Alternative Benefit - This benefit provides monthly cash benefits in lieu of reimbursement for home care and is equal to 50% of the daily benefit for home care. You decide each month whether to receive cash or be reimbursed for services. This benefit is subject to the Benefit Waiting / Elimination Period and reduces your Lifetime Maximum.
International Benefit - Benefits are provided for Qualified Long Term Care Services received outside of the United States. Benefits will be paid up to the International Coverage Facility Daily Benefit for eligible Out-of-Country Nursing Home stays or the International Coverage Home Care Daily Benefit for eligible Home Health Care, Homemaker Services and Personal Care Services.* Payment of International Coverage benefit is limited to 365 days during which Eligible Charges are incurred over the lifetime of the Coverage. Benefits will be paid in US currency.
*For features of your coverage, please refer to the plan booklet you received when your coverage was approved.
**For participants residing in the following states benefits will be paid at 75% of the International Coverage Facility Daily Benefit. All other States and jurisdictions will be paid at 100%:
Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Private Care Consultant - Provides a pool of money each calendar year equal to 20 times the Facility Daily Benefit elected for Private Care Consultant services not affiliated with Prudential. Benefits paid are not subject to the Benefit Waiting / Elimination Period and does not reduce your Lifetime Maximum.
Choice of Facility Daily Benefit, up to $350.
Restoration of Benefits - the Lifetime Maximum amount is restored to the level in effect prior to claim if you are no longer considered chronically ill or disabled for at least six consecutive months.
Contingent Non-Forfeiture Benefit - This provides a benefit if premium rates are increased by more than a certain allowable percentage and coverage lapses for this reason.
