I currently carry professional liability insurance with another provider and may switch. What information do I need?
Your most recent professional liability application listing your firm’s Area of Practice, firm’s Revenue and the number of Accounting Professionals. These pieces of information are necessary to calculate an estimate.
The Declarations page or Coverage page of your current insurance policy listing the effective date, prior acts exclusion date, the limits and deductible. This information is necessary to match your existing coverage.
If your current coverage includes additional coverage for things like cyber liability or coverage for a predecessor firm, a copy of this endorsement would allow us to match your existing coverage.
This is my first-time shopping for professional liability. What information do I need for an estimate?
You need to provide your firm’s area of practice, your firm’s revenue for current year and last year, and the number of accounting professionals at your firm. These pieces of information are necessary to calculate an estimate.
Is a Certificate of Insurance the same as the policy?
No, if you upload a Certificate of Insurance that is helpful, but we will still need additional information to match coverage accurately to provide an estimate.
What optional coverages may be added to this policy?
We can quote coverage for Cyber liability, Management liability, Crime, Employment Practices liability, Employee Dishonesty, Registered Representatives, Life Insurance Agents, Not-for-Profit Directors & Officers Defense and Bodily Injury.
Your AICPA Risk Advisor is available to review the options with you so you can select the appropriate coverage for your firm.
